Mission Statement

In keeping with the St. Joseph’s Care Group and Addiction Services Mission, Youth Services is a client centred provincial resource providing a variety of services to children, adolescents and their families.

Youth Services provides youth and their families support, education and stabilization in a safe respectful environment to empower the youth to make educated decisions about drug and alcohol use and gambling.

These decisions are supported through a multi-disciplinary team approach in collaboration with youth.

Youth Services offers residential treatment and community based services which include education and prevention.

Yoga for Youth
Yoga for Youth provides teenagers at-risk with a solid physical, mental and emotional foundation through the practice of yoga and meditation.
Stages of Change
Life is about change. Every day there are opportunities to make decisions that will change something in your life.
Do I have a problem?
Are you a regular user of drugs or maybe you'd just like to learn more about health issues around drugs and youth.
What is my role as a parent?
Many things that parents feel responsible for or about are really the responsibility of their children. “Child Saving” seldom, if ever, works. In fact, it tends to make things worse. Often it is only a cover for some feeling of inadequacy.
Drug Facts
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health's Ontario Student Drugs Use Survey (OSDUS), is the longest ongoing school survey of adolescents in Canada.
